VisArts

From its beginning in 1987 as Rockville Arts Place operating in a converted garage to its current contemporary, state-of-the-art facility in Rockville Town Square, VisArts has served local residents, students, art lovers, professional artists and others with an interest in the arts. Each year, VisArts welcomes more than 25,000 visitors to experience the transformational power of the visual arts.

Paisley Green developed and implemented an integrated communications plan for VisArts utilizing targeted marketing efforts. The results were a double-digit increase of class enrollment and exhibition attendance! Our marketing and PR initiatives garnered multiple stories in the following outlets: The Washington PostWashington City Paper, and Bethesda Magazine and we also generated TV coverage on NBC4. We expanded Facebook, Twitter and Instagram fanbases (+100% each) to reach broader audiences. Our graphic design projects included bright new logos, signage, brochures and flyers, and we created HTML e-blasts and other electronic materials, managing a list of 25k names.

Promotional efforts to celebrate VisArts’ 30 anniversary year resulted in more than 700 people honoring and celebrating this wonderful community institution at VisArts’ 30th Anniversary Launch Party.
